Commission piece for Kohola Kai on Tumblr (and on IG, and on Etsy, check her jewerly, it's AМAZING)
I was asked to do something like one of my first pieces, which was dedicated to Ruffles. However, the interesting part was also to create this as kind of a "throwback" piece, rewinding special moments. You can check those here. The original colors are a bit more into yellow/clear blue tones, but I wanted to make the atmosphere warmer with more orange. These are memories, definitely good ones!
The whales you see here are offshore orcas, but mostly the attention is focused on male, known as Scoopfin (O239).

Nicely done! I especially like the lighting from the sunset on the orcas and the water!~
